Electricity: a kidcyber weblink page

Electricity is the flow of electrical energy.
Electricity can be either a renewable or non-renewable source of energy. It depends on how it is generated.

Non-renewable electrical energy is generated by burning coal, gas or oil. kidcyber has information about coal here

Renewable electrical energy can be generated using the power of running water, the power of the wind, geothermal hot water and steam, and from the energy of the Sun. kidcyber has pages about geothermal energy, and about solar energy and about hydro electricity. Information about wind energy is here

Electricity is used for lighting, heating, cooking, and is the energy used to make appliances such as telephones, computers, washing machines, and now cars work.
